ISLAMABAD-
All the federal schools and colleges have been vacated by the Punjab police and classes would hopefully be started from the next week, said a spokesperson of Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) here on Friday.
“All the federal schools collages occupied by the police have been vacated, while ICG G 6/2 would be vacated by evening today” he said.
Minister of State Barrister Usman Ibrahim of CADD had also expressed concerns over the delay of vacating the educational building and issued strict directives to the ICT and police in this regard.
“We apologize from the parents and students for the inconvenience that has been caused to them due to the unforeseen situation and protests in the capital” the spokesperson said.
He said, “We are very concerned about the academic loss of the students had we would try out level best to complete the syllabus on time.”
He said proposal is under-consideration to arrange extra classes, winter break would be reduced and schools timing would be increased to cover up the loss.
He said Federal Directorate Education estimation committee would prepare a report for any damage to the schools building and infrastructure and would submit it to the ministry of interior and district management for the compensation.
