Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chairman Tahirul Qadri on Wednesday directed his supporters to vacate the Parliament House premises by today (Thursday) per the Supreme Court’s directives, but the firebrand cleric took exception to the harsh criticism from Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) particularly training his guns on National Assembly Opposition Leader Khursheed Shah whom he accused of of patronising terrorists in Sindh.

“Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) may not like my criticism, but it needs to shut up Opposition Leader Khursheed Shah,” said Qadri, urging PPP Co-chairman Asif Zardari to stop Shah and others from using indecent language against the PAT leadership.

“Shah should hold his tongue otherwise I will expose the wrongdoings of PPP and its leaders,” the Canada-based cleric warned.

“All those people who are camping within premises of Parliament House should move outside the building by Thursday as ordered by the chief justice of Pakistan,” Qadri said, calling on his “humble workers” to return home, saying that he could not bear to see them in trouble.

“Those who have to go to jobs, those who have to run their homes and those who have any trouble – they are free to leave,” he said.

The PAT chief also rejected allegations that his workers had stormed the building of Pakistan Television (PTV).

“We did not attack PTV headquarters building, we had no such plan,” Qadri said, alleging that “Gullu Butts” of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) had carried out the attack to malign his peaceful protesters.

NOTHING LESS THAN GO NAWAZ GO:

He reiterated that PAT would not back off from its demand for the resignation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif

“We will not move from here unless this government is ousted from power.”

Qadri demanded that all those nominated in the FIR of Model Town case should be arrested and tried, besides placing their names on Exit Control list (ECL).

He challenged the government that he would end the sit-in within three days if he failed to gather tens of thousands of people after the government removes all hurdles and containers and release the arrested workers of PAT.

“I came to take revenge for the PAT supporters who were martyred in Punjab. I have come in support of Pakistan’s poor. I will sit here for an entire year waiting for their (Sharif brothers) resignations if I have to.”

“If my enemy kills me…every drop of my blood will cry haq (truth).”
