Warid Telecom expands biometric verification system across Pakistan

Warid Telecom, the most reliable telecom operator of the country, has advanced its compliance with Pakistan telecommunication authority directives by expanding its biometric verifications solutions (BVS) network throughout Pakistan. Last year in December, Warid Telecom became one of the first telecom operators in Pakistan to deploy BVS network by providing 518 devices at 12 Warid business centers and 358 franchises. In the second phase, around 2000 devices were installed at retailers across Karachi and Balochistan.  Since the 31st of July, in the third phase of BVS installations, the system has been extended to ensure PTA compliance and 10,000 devices have been deployed to all retailers across Pakistan.
