ISLAMABAD-
Supreme Court of Pakistan on Monday directed both Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) to vacate Shahra-e-Dastoor (Constitution Avenue) by Tuesday, a private news channel reported.
A five-member bench of the apex court issued the orders during a hearing of miscellaneous petitions against likely extra-constitutional steps in the wake current political crisis.
Chief Justice Nasirul Mulk remarked that on Tuesday, all judges will be arriving at SC through Shahra-e-Dastoor or Constitution Avenue.
The bench ordered respective counsels of PTI and PAT to consult with party leaders and the attorney general to find a solution.
The attorney general has offered to shift the sit-ins to Sports Complex.
