SC wants PTI,PAT to clear Shahra-e-Dastoor

Supreme Court of Pakistan on Monday directed both Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) to vacate Shahra-e-Dastoor (Constitution Avenue) by Tuesday,  a private news channel reported.

A five-member bench of the apex court issued the orders during a hearing of miscellaneous petitions against likely extra-constitutional steps in the wake current political crisis.

Chief Justice Nasirul Mulk remarked that on Tuesday, all judges will be arriving at SC through Shahra-e-Dastoor or Constitution Avenue.

The bench ordered respective counsels of PTI and PAT to consult with party leaders and  the attorney general to find a solution.

The attorney general has offered to shift the sit-ins to Sports Complex.

  1. Those murdered in Model Town on orders of Shahbaz Sharif have no value for Supreme Court because they are poor and not with the status quo. Simple.
