  • FBISE announces result of HSSC Part-I, with 50.90 pass percentage

Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) on Monday announced result of Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) Part-I annual examination, declaring overall pass percentage of 50.90.

According to the result announced, a total of 51,883 regular candidates appeared in the exam out of which 27,375 candidates passed with pass percentage of 52.76.

A total of 2,603 private candidates appeared in the exam out of which 357 candidates could pass it with the pass percentage of 13.76.

In Humanities Group, a total of 8,219 regular students appeared in the exam out of which 3,313 passed against 256 private candidates out of 1,847 appeared.

In Pre-Medical Group, a total of 12,474 regular candidates appeared in the exam out of which 8,481 passed against no one private candidate out of total one appeared.

In Pre-Engineering Group, a total of 14,626 regular candidates appeared in the exam out of which 9,346 candidates passed while in Science General, a total of 11,643 regular candidates appeared in the exam out of which 4,637 passed.

In Commerce Group, a total of 4,729 regular candidates appeared out of which 1,516 passed the exam against 101 private candidates passed out of total 755 appeared.

In Med-Tech, a total of 192 regular candidates appeared in the exam out of which 82 could pass it.

The result is also available on the federal board website www.fbise.edu.pk and the students can know it by sending SMS to the unified code 5050 in the format FB<space>[roll number].

This year, six unfair means cases were reported and resolved through adopting a judicious procedure.

The result cards of regular candidates are being dispatched to the heads of their respective institutions and those of ex-private candidates within country on their addresses given by them in their admission forms.

The result cards of overseas candidates are being dispatched to the head of institutions from where they appeared. The result cards of regular and ex-private candidates belonged to Gilgit-Baltistan are being sent on the FBISE’s sub-office of Gilgit-Baltistan.
