At least six people were killed when former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa minister Bakht Bedar’s house in Lower Dir was attacked by armed men early on Tuesday.
According to details, armed men clad in military uniforms entered former minister’s house and opened fire, killing six people including Bedar’s brother and a police official. Bedar remained safe during the attack.
It could not immediately be ascertained who had attacked the former minister nor the motive.
