Karachi continues to bleed – eight murders reported

Eight people, including a Muttahida Qaumi Movement worker, were killed in separate incidents of violence in the city on Wednesday.

Police said an MQM worker, Abdul Razzaq, 45, son of Abdul Ghani of Unit 73 was shot dead by unidentified armed men near Bilal Colony in Bangali Para, Korangi. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) for a post-mortem.

Separately, a man, Nawaz, 45, son of Muhammed Ramazan, was shot dead near Urdu Chowk in Orangi Town. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for an autopsy.

An unidentified man, aged 40, was shot dead by armed men in Kunwari Colony, Orangi Town. The body was shifted to ASH for medico-legal formalities.

Moreover, a man, Syed Saeed Shah, 45, was killed and another, Muhammed Asif, 30, injured when unidentified armed men opened fire on them on II Chundrigar Road. The body and injured were shifted to Civil Hospital (CHK) Karachi for an autopsy and treatment respectively.

Also, an unidentified man, aged 30, was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Janjal Goth, Gulshan-e-Meymar. The body was shifted to ASH for medico-legal formalities.

Separately, a man, Bilal, 28, son of Bashir, was shot dead on Khyaban-e-Rumi Road in Defence Housing Authority. The body was shifted to JPMC for an autopsy.

Furthermore, the mutilated body of an unidentified man, aged 35, was found near Jawedan Factory in Manghopir. It was shifted to ASH for post-mortem examination.

Lastly, an unidentified man, aged 23, was shot dead by unidentified armed men on Netti Jetti Bridge in Keamari. The body was brought to CHK for a post-mortem examination.
