Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah Wednesday reiterated to arm police with state-of-the-art equipments to enhance its performance.
Addressing to a ceremony here, the chief minister said that Karachi and other part of Sindh has been witnessing the worst terrorism, however, his government is committed to over come it and restore peace in Karachi and rest of the province.
He said Sindh police and Rangers are fighting against three forces which include terrorists, kidnappers and extortionists.
Shah said police and Rangers would be provided the latest arms and modern training to fight with terrorists and other criminals.
The chief minister appreciated that police is performing well with limited resources in Karachi and other parts of the province.
He urged to be united to curb the curse of terrorisms.
Speaking on this occasion, IG Sindh Iqbal Mehmood said Sindh Police personnel would not hesitate from giving sacrifices in the line of duty, and for the protection of lives and properties of the countrymen.
He also said that the Town Planning had begun on 300 acres of land for family members and heirs of police martyrs.
