The Interior Ministry has warned of possible suicide attack in Karachi in days to come.

In a letter written to Sindh provincial administration, the interior ministry said suicide attack can occur at any place in Karachi, reported a private TV channel.

It asked the law enforcers to adopt stringent security measures across the provincial capital to prevent any foul play.

The letter said terrorists had planned terror activities in different areas of the city.

The interior ministry letter has been dispatched to all relevant stake holders including DG Rangers, inspector general police and provincial government high-ups.

Meanwhile, the Interior Ministry also expressed concern that different Chinese engineers working in Sindh could be abducted by miscreants.

An arrested robber, Ismail Phanwar, confessed that planning had been made to kidnap Chinese engineers in Sindh.

The ministry directed the Rangers DG and the Sindh IG to ensure arrest of the culprits named by the nabbed robber.
