The District Municipal Corporation (DMC) Korangi, in its recent drive for healthy environment, exterminated 150 stray dogs in seven union councils of Shah Faisal Zone.
According to a statement issued here on Wednesday, the drive is being carried out on public complaints against menace of stray dogs in the area.
Administrator DMC Korangi, Imran Aslam visited different union councils of Shah Faisal to review ongoing drive for sanitation, provision of civic facilities and arrangements for killing stray dogs.
He said development of area and maintaining clean, healthy environment was their priority and directed concerned officials to carry forward the anti-stray dog campaign in all zones of the district.
