New anti-dengue plan issued for 21 union councils

As a part of the ongoing anti-dengue campaign in Rawalpindi, the Punjab government has issued a new plan of action for 21 sensitive union councils.
The provincial government has deployed 47 employees of Heath department to carry out the extended anti-dengue measures in the sensitive union councils including those of Khayaban-e-Sir Syed, Dhoke Najo, Pirwadhai, Fauji colony and others.
The officials have been directed to immediately take anti dengue measures and start surveillance of houses in the union councils. They have also been ordered to submit reports of the surveillance and their progress on daily basis.
