Government and the Army are on the same page over the issues of national interests but some politicians are intentionally attempting to create rifts and misunderstandings, said Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah while talking to journalists on Sunday.
Sanaullah said that politicians hatching conspiracies to destabilise national institutions and creating confusion will face failure and the sitting government will complete its constitutional term.
He said that case of former president Pervez Musharraf was in the court and judiciary will decide about his future in accordance with the charges against him.
The provincial law minister said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) led governments will fulfill all pledges made to masses prior to the general election including resolving the power crisis. He termed the reports that Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar is going to quit as baseless and said that peace talks and process of restoration of peace was heading in right direction under his leadership.
Sanaullah said that pro-masses policies and long term policies of the government have improved the economy of the country and living standard of common man. He vowed that PML-N government will further strengthen the democracy and democratic institutions in the country.
