KARACHI
Baqai Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases has announced to hold a free medical camp for heart patients on March 9 at its facility located in Nazimabad, block II.
The camp to be functional from 9 am to 3 pm will be manned by a team of senior cardiologists and would continue on Sundays falling from March 9 to 30, said the organisers on Wednesday.
They said the camp besides being held on March 9, 16, 23 and 30 respectively would from then onwards will be conducted, as a routine, on every last Sunday of each month.
On the occasion, the visitors including patients and those keen to get themselves assessed would be examined and provided with essential tests as cholesterol level, blood sugar, hypertension.
They will also be educated through a well chalked out public education focused on prevention and improved understanding about symptoms that must not be ignored at any cost.
