Lawmakers in Lower House of the Parliament on Tuesday urged the government to provide interest-free loan to the federal government’s employees for resolving their financial issues.
Speaking on the resolution moved by the Sahibzada Muhammad Yaqub, Tariq Ullah and Sher Akbar Khan, the speakers demanded of the government to give interest-free loan to the federal employees.
MNA Ayesha Syed said the government should give soft loans to youth, adding that the women working in the federal institutions should also be given loans.
MNA Jamshaid Dasti said the federal government employees were facing several financial problems due to inflation in the capital as compared to other cities.
Parliamentary Secretary for Finance Rana Muhammad Afzal said the government was already giving soft loan to the employees from BPS 1 to BPS 15 for house building and vehicle purchase
