Armed men, accomplices of four criminals, attacked and managed to free their accomplices from police custody on Wednesday.
Sources said that miscreants attacked the police party which had brought criminals to produce them in the court, in Gudwala area in Gojra city police station limits of Faisalabad.
Four criminals managed to run away from the police custody uninterrupted with the help of their accomplices as the police did not show any resistance.
The police has said the fled absconders had been involved in heinous crimes.
An investigation has been initiated against the police officers for showing negligence.
The police cordoned off the area after the incident and started a search operation for the arrest of the absconders and their accomplices.
Apparently the photo indicates the brave armed men of the Police running away.
