Karachi administration has decided to build a price-controlling workforce of eunuchs for overlooking the rates of daily-use consumer products and put a stop to profiteering and hoarding in the city.
According to reports, the city administration will be raising a team of over 4,000 eunuchs who will be deployed all over the city for monitoring prices and report conning traders of consumer products
Karachi Commissioner, Shoaib Siddiqui said that the decision has been taken put in use the talents of the eunuch community and make them active citizens of the society.
The eunuch community has welcomed the decision while some of the members remain sceptical about the implementation of the programme.
