Pak-India DGMOs’ meeting concludes

A meeting between the Director General of Military Operations (DGMOs) of Pakistan and India concluded on Tuesday at Wagah Border, Lahore.

The two military officials, Major General Amir Riaz of Pakistan and Lieutenant General Vinod Bhatia from India, met each other after a 14-year span in which the Line of Control (LOC), working boundary situation and other security affairs were discussed.

The Pakistani delegation comprises five military officials while Indian delegation consisted of six officials. One brigadier and two lieutenant colonels were present with Amir Riaz while two brigadiers and three lieutenant colonels accompanied Vinod Bhatia.

According to sources, the military officials discussed steps to control the ceasefire violations and improve the border security to protect the civilians across fire.
