Iranian foreign minister declared on Sunday that Iran will continue the nuclear talks with world powers after quitting the expert level talks in protest of Washington going against the agreement which signed between the two countries last month.

“We will continue Geneva talks. We will show proper, calculated, purposeful and smart reaction toward any improper and un-constructive action,” read Zarif’s statement on Facebook.

FM Mohammad Javad Zarif made the statement on an online social networking site. He blamed that “improper actions” by the U.S. forced Iran to pull out of the nuclear talks on Friday.

On Friday, Iran quit nuclear talks with world powers, accusing Washington of expanding its sanctions blacklist which goes against the agreement between US and Iran.

The historic agreement was signed in November. It committed Iran to curb its nuclear activities in exchange for gradual removal of sanctions by US.
