Two children die in Quetta gas explosion

Two children of a family died on Tuesday while three others including two women and a man sustained injuries in gas an explosion in their home in Ghausabad area of Quetta.
According to police and rescue sources, the ill-fated family members forgot to turn off a burning gas heater before going to sleep in the room.
Officials said anyone might have showed a match stick to the heater in the gas-filled room which caused the explosion.
The deceased were identified as, six-year-old Rafi Ahmed and his sister Saeeda, 10, while Sultan was three-years-old, Feroza, 40, and Hina Gul, 60, sustained injuries in the incident.
It was not immediately clear whether the kids died of suffocation or the blast. Three other family members also sustained injuries when the room caught fire.
