Two killed in Karachi violence

Two people were killed in early morning incidents of firing in Karachi as paramilitary Rangers continued their crackdown to purge the city of criminals.

Rescue officials said a man was gunned down in Dalmia and another in Korangi Industrial area in drive-by attacks.

A firing incident was reported in the Baldia town locality where two others were left injured.

Meanwhile, Rangers conducted a ‘targeted’ operation in the Ghausia Colony Tuesday morning and arrested a few suspects, cordoning off entry and exit points of the area and searching suspected houses.

Two police officials were killed in an attack and three citizens were shot dead in Orangi Town and Lyari on Monday.

The policemen were identified as Rahat and Siddique. A sub-inspector, Mir Ali, was injured in the assault which took place in the Nazimabad area.

Sindh Police Additional Inspector General Shahid Hayat said the religious extremists might be involved in the incident.

  1. Must be MQM Terrorist wing is involved behind this. The days are going to over for MQM and Altaf Hussain the Militants Mafia Big Boss, all his crocodile tears , dirty topi dramas, conspiracy theories etc. will not help them anymore. Rangers should arrest their Killer mastermind.
