A notification declaring former president Musharraf’s residence as a “sub-jail” has been withdrawn.

According to Media Reports, the 70-year-old former President was under house arrest at his farmhouse on the outskirts of Islamabad for being nominated in a number of cases.

However, after acceptance of his bail papers in at least four major cases, he was declared free last night, after which the Islamabad administration withdrew notification declaring his residence as sub jail.

Subsequently, police and rangers have tightened security around his Chak Shahzad farm house.

  1. Musharf has caused such irreparable and ever-lasting damage to many interests of Pakistan Historians other than his fb followers will remember him as one of the most clever traitors of all time. Despite the selective accountability(surely due to pressure from Army side) we may still say that Divine Justice maybe served. That is why he is keeping him safe near 111 brigade instead of his UK and UAE residences

  2. Unfortunate the way you guys treat your heroes . People who have looted your country & gotten you to the state that your country is in now …..an international pariah state …..are called heroes of the democracy !!! Politicians who looted the state are accountable to no one . Musharraf was one of the few Pak leaders who were presentable on the international stage ….a far cry from Sharif ( who took out notes during the press conference with Obama ….and blabbered like a school kid ) ….And Zardari who looked & acted more like a Mafia don than a president …

  4. Without any political bias, I strongly feel that both military and politicians are equally responsible for unilimted destruction and damage to this country. However, the amount of development and economics stability has been far better during three military regimes than democracy owners.
What we see now and during previous PPP government, exponential growth trend in corruption, rising unemployment, huge unrest, deteriorating law and order sitution, drones and bombs, economic crash, inflation, and catastrophic sitution of many departments leading toward their ultimate demise.
If Mushraf was a real bad guy, then you have to prove with ground realities in mind that how Zardari and Nawaz sharif are better than him. Again, we should look their performance instead our political biased approach.
