Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Syed Munawar Hassan has stressed upon the government to respect the APC decisions and refrain from sacrificing national interests only to please US.
Addressing the opening session of the JI central workshop at Mansoora, he said that certain forces were out to sabotage the talks with the Taliban as was evident from a surge in the bomb blasts. He condemned the bomb blast at a Peshawar church and said the elements shedding the innocent’s blood were enemies of Pakistan.
Hassan said that the Islamic movements were being driven towards violence. He said the US and the west were trying hard to obstruct the Muslims from attaining political power rule, and were indulging in the character assassination of the Muslims. They would never like Islam and the Muslims to emerge as world power.
