The provincial capital on Friday received scattered rain, relieving Lahorites of the hot weather. It was a sunny day for the city which at once changed and clouds hovered in the skies and a heavy downpour began. The rain continued in intervals turning the weather pleasant. As per the meteorologists, the wet spell is to continue for the next 24 hours and a forecast of partly cloudy weather with chances of rain and thunderstorms has been issued for the city. The synoptic situation shows that a low pressure area is located over Gujrat in India and adjacently over lower Sindh. Under the influence of this weather system moisture is penetrating in Sindh and its adjoining South Punjab.On Friday, maximum and minimum temperature in the city was recorded 35 degrees Celsius and 26 C respectively. Relative humidity in the morning was recorded 54 percent, which increased to 62 percent in the evening.
