If peace talks are to be given a chance, the people who are dedicated to an agenda of violence should be separated from those who are willing to cease fire, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said on Monday.
Condemning Sunday’s attack on All Saints Church in Peshawar, Khan said people who were willing to talk peace within the ambit of the constitution should be taken in isolation from those who wanted to carry out terrorist attacks against innocent people.
Referring to an earlier statement of Interior Minister Nisar Ali Khan, he said Nisar did not confirm which group carried out the attack, adding that whoever was responsible should be condemned.
“Nothing justifies the targeting of innocent people and their places of worship. This is against the spirit of Islam,” Khan said.
The PTI chairman said Sunday’s attack was an act of terror against all Pakistanis.
“We condemn it and its perpetrators unequivocally,” he said.
Imran we expected leadership from you not an analysis of violent and violent people who agree to cease fire. This is called nittpicking. When the time has come to walk the talk you seem to be dithering. Where is that passionate Imran who addressed the nation from his sick bed.? Condemnation is not enough. A great country is known by the way it treats it,s minorities. We are failing everyday. We seem to be fighting a faith war in Pakistan.
What is the criteria to separate a good terrorist from a bad terrorist ? Mr. Khan you seem to know how to separate them. Although I am not there but I have a litmus test for those Pakistanis who are wondering. Bad terrorists are dead, good ones are alive.
I think IK is the most confused person in this whole world and with his baseless statements regarding terrorists he is confusing whole nation as well. I think IK & PTI are failed miserably.
The only way to get rid of terrorists is to declare war on the killers and not enter into a dialogue with the people who support them. Some seem to support them overtly and others covertly. They are in the various assemblies and have vote bank. No wonder people call Pakistan the most dangerous country in the world.Pakistan is being eaten up within. When will talks about stategy end and tactics begin. The christian community desrves praise for displaying dignity under strain. They represented the best about pakistan.
