A drug peddler was killed in police firing while two police personnel were tortured to death by residents in Dora area, in the suburbs of Islamabad.
According to police, two police officials ASI Ramzan and constable Ansar arrived in Dora area to get information about the presence of drug dealers where a heated exchange took place between drug peddler, Nadeem and the police officers.
The accused was killed on the spot as police opened fire.
Consequently, the residents of the area tortured the police personnel to death while the informer was injured.
The locals said Nadeem was set to marry within few days.
Drug dealers are questioned and local residents attack and kill policemen?…what a completely corrupt society…
Sad, sad what a country – no police station to ask for back up. It is a hopeless situation.
