Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif is likely to expand the provincial cabinet in the coming two weeks, Pakistan Today has learnt.
Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) sources claimed that the Punjab Cabinet will be expanded with the induction of four new ministers and an advisor after the CM’s approval.
According to sources, Khawaja Salman Rafique may be given the charge of Punjab Health Department as CM is ‘not happy’ with the performance of Health Minister Tahir Khalil Sindhu.
Moreover, sources claimed that Raja Zafar-ul-Haq’s son Raja Muhammad Ali, Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar’s close friend colonel (r) Ayub and former president Farooq Laghari’s son Jamal Laghari would be given vital positions. Sources further said that Mansha Ullah Butt is also expected to take oath as an advisor to chief minister.
