Canadian HC lauds Shahbaz’s commitment for development


“Wiping out terrorism from the country is the only guarantee for survival and stability of Pakistan and government is making all out efforts in this regard,” said Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif during his meeting with Canadian High Commissioner (HC) Greg Giokas who called on him on Monday.
They discussed key issues relating bilateral interests.
Shahbaz said that Punjab government was using all available resources for swift development of the province and no compromise would be made over the issue. He said that Punjab government was working on various alternate energy projects and hoped that soon the electricity crisis will be under control.
The Canadian high commissioner eulogized the commitment of Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) led provincial government for the province’s development.
