The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) distributed 25,998 tents to provide some solace to numerous flood affected families.
According NDMA data, 2,430 tents were distributed in the flood-hit areas of Balochistan, 8,800 in Sindh, 728 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and 14,040 in Punjab.
The NDMA additionally distributed 2,950, 66 and 1,430 food packs among the flood affected in Balochistan, KP and Punjab, respectively.
500 blankets including 300 in Balochistan and 200 in KP and 14,000 mosquito nets including 10,000 in Sindh and 4,000 in Balochistan were also distributed by the NDMA.
Furthermore, the NDMA distributed 12 dewatering pumps including eight in Balochistan and four in Sindh.
