Hot and humid weather would prevail for the next two to three days and rain in Lahore was unlikely before Wednesday, the Met Office reported on Saturday.
According to weather experts, a seasonal low lies over west Balochistan and the adjoining areas.
Lahore would experience partly cloudy weather on Sunday and the temperature was likely to increase to 35C while the minimum temperature was expected to be 26C, the Met Office reported.
On Saturday, the minimum temperature in Lahore remained 25-27C while the maximum temperature was 37C.
In other parts of the country, including Balochistan, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), south Punjab, Kashmir and its adjoining hilly areas, the Met Office forecast widespread rain and thunderstorms.
Isolated rain and thunderstorm was likely in Gilgit-Baltistan (GB).
Heavy falls are expected in upper and south KP, lower Sindh and northeast Balochistan.
The Met office forecast report said monsoon currents from the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal were entering most parts of the country.
During the last 24 hours, rain and thunderstorms occurred in scattered places of KP, Balochistan, Sindh, Punjab, GB, Kashmir and Islamabad.
Due to the recent heavy falls, the Met Office has issued a flash flood warning in the hilly areas of Balochistan and cities of Larkana, Karachi and Hyderabad divisions during the next 24-36 hours.

So much for this weather forecast by our Met Dept that rain unlikely in Lahore till Wednesday. It has rained on Sunday morning at Fajr and more likely later.
