Operation’s Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Muhammad Tahir Rai dismissed four SI’s, one ASI, one HC and three constables during an orderly room. According to details SI Abdul Shammi and SI Muhammad Bashir were dismissed for inefficiency and negligence which resulted in the killings of two individuals during a session court while SI Maqsood Ahmed, SI Saifullah, ASI Muhammad Ashraf , Head Constable Shahab-ud-din, Constable Muhammad Nadeem, Constable Nazir Hussain and Constable Abdul Waheed were dismissed for failure to formulate foolproof security arrangements due to which eight under-trial prisoners escaped from police custody from Lahore’s District Court. Rai said that no one was above the law and that inefficiency and negligence would not be tolerated at any cost.
