Khattak tribal elders called a session in which Maulana Shabbir Usmani, Hafiz Ibn-e-Ameen, Mir Zaqeem and several other Islamic scholars were present. The session ended with the decision according to which hijaab and the company of a male relative was made mandatory for women when entering into the district’s markets and bazaars.

Moreover, the tribal elders announced that stern action would be taken against the violators of the law.
