Richard G Olson, US ambassador to Pakistan, called on Federal Minister for Finance Senator Ishaq Dar in his office on Wednesday.
Ambassador Olson congratulated Dar on his party’s victory in general elections. He said that the economic initiatives taken by the government to revive Pakistan’s economy and stabilising the macro-economic imbalances were encouraging.
Dar thanked the ambassador for the support and expressed the confidence that the economic ties between the two countries would be further expanded.
