Waiter killed for delay in serving tea

A security guard at a petrol station shot a tea-boy dead in Ghari Shahu on Thursday for delay in serving him.

As per details, a security guard named Mumtaz Khan ordered tea at a local hotel. Waiter Gulab Khan took longer than usual in bringing the tea, which angered the security guard. Harsh words were exchanged, ending with Mumtaz opening fire on Gulab.

Gulab was seriously injured, and rushed to ServicesHospital where he lost his life.

Police arrested the security guard and shifted Gulab’s body to the morgue for postmortem.

 

Canal drowns a child

 

A 10-year-old boy on Thursday drowned in the canal while taking a bath near Shah di Khohi area.

According to details, the boy was named Usman. The report said that rescue teams searched for two hours but could not find his body.

The police have informed the victim’s family.
