Government to make efforts to solve people’s problems: info minister

Federal Information Minister Pervaiz Rasheed on Sunday said that the government is aware of the people’s problems and all-out efforts are being made to address them.
He said that Pakistan was confronted with number of challenges like terrorism and energy crisis, adding that the government was taking steps to achieve progress and prosperity for the people.
Talking to a private TV channel, he said that the government is going on the right direction and his government would follow the orders of the court regarding former president Pervez Musharraf’s trial.
“PML-N government is obeying the court orders and acted upon it as per constitution and law of the country. The attorney general is looking into the matter,” the minister said.
The minister said that all the institutions are working under their defined parameters.
To a question, he said there was no gap between civil and military working relationships.
He said that Nawaz Sharif was elected as prime minister with majority votes and heavy mandate.
He said that the people from all parts of the country, including Chakwal, have reposed full confidence in the leadership of Nawaz Sharif.
Rasheed said that the PML-N government is fully aware of the problem of the masses and added that all out efforts are being made to bring improvement in the system and provide relief to the people.
He said all institutions were working under their defined parameters and there was no gap between civil-military working relationships.
