Deadly disease Ranikhet continues to kill peacocks in Tharparkar as seven more succumb to the disease on Wednesday, taking the overall death toll 56.
The Sindh Wildlife Department confirmed the death of the seven peacocks, sharing details of other peacocks killed in various parts of Tharparkar district.
So far, 19 peacocks have died in Subhani village, seven in Dahri, six in Kerlo, five in Kharoron, four in Surachand, four in Dadvero, four in Cheeraro of Deplo, two in Jaggi Jotar, and one in Railo village.
The seven dead peacocks were sent to the Poultry Research Laboratory for examination and the reports will be received in a week, officials of the Sindh Wildlife Department said.
