Fouzia Kasuri is not returning to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and is in no rush to withdraw an earlier decision to quit the party, Kasuri’s family sources told Pakistan Today.
“Fouzia is right now in Dubai and has no plan to rejoin the party on her return,” a close relative said.
There were reports in certain sections of media claiming Kasuri is set to return to her parent party.
Earlier, PTI chief Imran Khan had hinted Kasuri would be back soon, at a press event a couple of days ago. This statement by Khan came following his meeting with Kasuri last week and according to reports, Khan had even sent a party delegation to win the estranged leader back. But Kasuri, apparently, refused to budge.
Her family sources revealed she had been unhappy for a while on how the party was being handled, especially at the ascendancy of “outsiders.”
Despite being a founding member of the party, she was hardly rewarded for her struggle and neglected when she could have been accommodated in the new parliament, they said.
Sources said she was hardly inclined to reverse her decision to leave the party for the time being. There are also reports that she has been offered a senior position in the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).

She did not get a seat so she quit, tells you how much she cares for the party. Good riddance. Imran khan saheb wake up and smell the coffee and move on with your good work. GOOD LUCK, God be with you.
