Senators visit Poly Clinic

The Senate Standing Committee on Cabinet Secretariat and Capital Administration and Development on Tuesday visited the Federal Government Poly Clinic (FGPC) to examine the services being provided to patients.

During the visit, Committee Chairperson Kalsoom Perveen and other members received detailed briefing about the hospital’s functioning of the hospital and the issues it faced.

FGPC Executive Director Dr Shaukat Kiani briefed the committee members about the on-going development projects besides new plans to up-grade the hospital.

He apprised that the hospital management was fully committed to provide standard medical facilities to the patients in the hospital with an improved service delivery system.

He assured that all pending projects would be completed in time to ensure that health care services are delivered effectively.

The committee’s chairperson asked the hospital management to ensure provision of all medical services to patients and make the utmost efforts in this regard.
