At least two dead bodies were recovered in the federal capital on Tuesday.
The dead body of 35-year-old gatekeeper Zahid Mehmood was recovered in the suburban area of the Nilor police station near Charah. Superintendent Police (SP) Sardar Sadaqat Ali claimed that Zahid Mehmood watched over Haroon Akhtar’s land and unknown criminals had shot him dead two to three days ago and threw his body in a drain nearby.
Futher, another unidentified 32-year-old dead body was recovered in Pind Paracha, which falls in the Golra police station’s area. The man apparently died of natural causes and the police shifted his body to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for an autopsy.
The police have registered cases for both and started investigations.
