Imran Khan sets up KPK Development Advisory Committee

Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI), Imran Khan has set up a Khyber Pukhtunkhwa Development Advisory Committee.

The committee members consist of Ali Asghar Khan, Asad Umar, Jehangir Khan Tareen, Khalid Masud and Rustam Shah Mohmand.

Mr Samar Ali Khan, MPA-elect (Karachi), has been nominated as Leader of PTI in the Sindh Assembly.

Mr Sibtain Khan, MPA-elect (Mianwali), has been nominated as Deputy Leader of PTI in the Punjab Assembly.

    • In the presence of wheeler-dealer Pervez Khattak as Chief Minister, the Advisory Committee is merely an eyewash for burger kids to celebrate!

      What a “Naya” when you have 61 year old “youth” as Chief Minister who has changed loyalties 4 times in the past and was dismissed by ANP’s last government in KPK!

    The fact of the matter is that with 35 seats in the Assembly of 99, it is a big “Minority”. whereas, to become a “Majority” you need 51 seats!

    PTI is a minority and that is why it is cobbling alliance with JI and QWP of Aftab Sherpao. Yes, the same Sherpao against whom all NAB investigations against corruption were immediately dropped when he announced to support dictator Musharraf's PMLQ in 2002.

  53. Mr. Imran must have technocrats also in the advisory committee specially in the field of hydro power generation. KPK has lot areas in the north like Swat, Kaghan Valley Chitral etc were hydel power can be exploited. After law and order situation in KPK next most important area is energy where PTI must be focused.

  67. Imran khan, our national hero, i request you to give 5 years general age relaxation in the CSS exam. Musharraf had cut down the age limit, we have suffered a lot. Do something to stop the worst brain drain from pakistan and especially kpk. we are having higher degrees but we cannot take css exam due to age bar. please take notice.

  69. good start..but we must come out of the committee(s) culture (A committee is a cul-de-sac down which ideas are lured and then quietly strangled)….there has to be task force or something similar..things should be disposed off on war footing basis..whatever..timelines should be set to achieve the objective
