Saddar Sub-Divisional Magistrate on Tuesday imposed a ban on constructing houses, loading and unloading building material within the limit of Sector G-14/1, 2 and 3.
The ban was imposed in under Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure 1898, according to which, “this order shall come into force with immediate effect and remain enforced for a period of two months.”
According to the order, some people were constructing houses in the villages falling in Sector G-14/1, 2 and 3, an area which had been acquired for the Federal Government Employees Housing Foundation’s residential scheme.
“The houses are being constructed only to enhance the compensation for constructed property, which is against the law,” the order added.
The homes are being designed only to improve the settlement for designed residence, which is against the law.
