The police, in their drive initiated against criminals, has arrested 46 accused during the past 24 hours.
A police statement released here on Monday said that those arrested included eight absconders.
It said that eight weapons of different calibres were also recovered from those arrested along with explosives, motorcycles and mobile phones.
Meanwhile, action was also initiated against 10 people for violating the ban on pillion riding.
