Metropolitan Police rejected arresting activists of a Pakistan-based political party (MQM) on Sunday, local media reported.
According to sources, the London police came up with this clarification in the wake of a news item claiming the arrests- that went viral on social media.
The Metropolitan Police in a statement termed such reports as groundless fabrications.
Meanwhile, more than 1,000 Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) loyalists converged at 10 Downing Street to lodge their protest against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain, who PTI claimed had threatened its demonstrators in Karachi with dire consequences during a telephonic speech.

  1. And what about those Baloch nationalists and separatists who openly and loudly raise slogans of independence from Pakistan while enjoying the comforts of West. Did anyone bothered to take notice of those traitors of Pakistan????

    • .
"traitors of Pakistan" is not and should not be West's business …
      .
West's business is 'keep your militants home' …
      .
West's tax payers already gave you a lot of money …

  2. Not surprised. In the UK there is law and due process. Arrests are made on evidence not political considerations.

However, I still firmly believe that Altaf is protected by MI6/CIA/RAW

  3. We Pakistanis are familiar with the kind of Law that is practiced in Pakistan. Here, evidence is not the sole criteria to make or take decisions but other factors do also contribute towards decision making. In UK evidence and only evidence is the consideration for making just decision.
