Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan is said to be making a quick recovery and will be able to walk in two weeks, a close aide told reporters on Friday.
Senior Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf leader and vice president Asad Umar said that the PTI chief is likely to be discharged from the Shaukat Khanum hospital in the next ten to twelve days.
“He is quite annoyed and irritated after staying in bed for so long and wants to get out of the hospital as soon as possible.”
While speaking to Dawn, PTI vice president Asad Umar said that Imran was all ‘charged up’, “He is a sportsman and Masha Allah in great shape. He has phenomenal will power, so all of that is helping him recover faster than an average person.”
Imran Khan is undergoing physiotherapy treatment everyday now.
“He is likely to walk around the hospital building in the next two to three days” said Asad Umar. “The doctors are just being cautious about the condition of Imran’s health, otherwise Imran would have been discharged earlier, especially now that he is all adamant on getting out of the hospital”
