Pakistan is all set to participate in the 3-day long “Global State of Young Scientists” international workshop from May 13 to 15 in Hannover, Germany.

Scientist Aftab Ahmad, a Pakistan Higher Education Research expert will represent Pakistan’s young scientists and highlight the challenges they face.

Many upcoming and senior scientists from different countries would also participate.

The workshop would contribute to the Global Status of Young Scientists project’s goals of furthering scientists’ academic careers, encouraging the youth to pursue science professionally and narrow the technological and theoretical scientific gap between the developed and developing world, said Ahmad.

“It will also explore issues and support mechanisms young scientists encounter in the academia”, he added.
