Central Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former National Assembly Opposition Leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Sunday became the first national parliamentarian to be elected for the 8th time in a row.

Pakistan Muslim League- Quaid (PML-Q)’s Chaudhry Anwar Ali Cheema came close to the record, becoming a National Assembly member for seven times in a row. However, Cheema was defeated by the PML-N candidate in the 2013 elections.

Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan contested the 2013 elections from two constituencies. He lost from one constituency but won in the other, establishing a unique record, an added feather in his political cap.

  1. A born looser, person winning 8 times in a row yet no credible work for the country. Ask chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan what he has done for the country and for the people of Pakistan. He served his master Nawaz sharif, He never served his county. He won for the eighth time in a massively rigged election , you call it a win? shame on you.
