Unknown miscreants kidnapped Dr Mubashir Ahsan at gunpoint on Saturday.
According to Levies sources, Dr Mubbashir Ahsan, a surgeon of Civil Hospital Chaman as per routine left the house for morning walk.
When he came out of his house the kidnappers abducted him.
Dr Ahsan showed resistance but the kidnappers took him in the vehicle.
The security forces getting the information placed a strict cordoned off and launched search operation but the abductors managed to escape.
Meanwhile, doctors across the district held protests against the kidnapping of senior fellow. All state-run hospitals were locked down.
Dr Akhtar, MS Civil Hospital said that attempts were made in the past also to abduct doctors. He said that Dr Ahsan’s family got a call from abductors, who threatened to kill him.
