Being true to its promise of reshuffling bureaucracy to the grass root in Punjab, the caretaker government has changed the assistant commissioners (ACs) in the entire province, Pakistan Today has learnt.
In one of the most anticipated moves, the one which has literally shaken up the provincial bureaucracy, 139 ACs from all tehsils of the province have been transferred.
“The ACs are revenue officers and command a lot of influence in the local area and its politics, developing close ties with the winning MPA and MNA. Changing the last tier of bureaucracy in the entire province is a great step which will purify the bureaucratic structure to its bones,” said a senior official, seeking anonymity.
It is good to change for fare election and also consider those who were affected by CM Mr shahbaz sharif and they are waiting to join there duties thanks
