Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari on Wednesday directed a review of party tickets in 65 constituencies of the National Assembly and provincial assemblies.

In a meeting  met with party leaders in Naudero house, he told party leaders that those candidates who won in the 2002 and 2008 general elections may be given preference on the awarding of tickets for the 2013 polls.

Bilawal said he did not want to take any political risks in the coming general election. He also asked party leaders to apprise the voters about their performance to ensure their participation. Wednesday’s development follows Bilawal’s return to Karachi late on Monday night, a week after he had gone to Dubai over “security concerns”.
