Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl-ur-Rehman (JUI-F) is all set to hold a public gathering in Lahore on March 31, with party leaders optimistic of a big crowd in the provincial capital.

Central party leader Hafiz Hussain Ahmed said the public gathering would be held at Minar-e-Pakistan. He said the party had already held big gatherings in Karachi and Quetta recently and expressed hope that the upcoming one would be also a big one. He said though the JUI-F was based in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, but lately it had gained popularity across all provinces owing to its stance on different national issues.

Hafiz Hussain Ahmed said JUI-F would form election alliance with no political party and would contest the upcoming general polls from its own platform. He made it clear that seat adjustment could be made with Pakistan Muslim League-N, Pakistan Muslim League-Functional, and Pakistan Sindh Taraqqi Pasand Party and Qaumi Watan Party in Swabi.
